What is two-step login and how does it work?
Two-step login with verification is the optional security procedure that your idealista account has, so that no one can access your data without your consent. This is very important to maintain as much control as possible and always guarantee the security of your idealista data.
Therefore, if you activate “two-step login”, every time your account is accessed with a device other than the one you normally use, we will send an SMS to your mobile phone with a code that you will have to enter together with your password in order to log in.
This way, even if your password is fraudulently acquired, you will have an extra layer of security at your disposal to protect your account.

How is two-step login activated?
Activation of two-step login with verification is simple: it will take place during the registration of a listing, as long as you keep the corresponding box ticked, when you enter the code that we send you by SMS to validate your phone:
Simply by doing this, the security of your idealista account is already strengthened!
If, for whatever reason, you do not want to carry out a second verification step, simply uncheck the box “Increase the security of your account with two-step login”.
