Today we're taking a look around Portugal's newest boutique hotel in Cascais, which has recently opened its doors. BCascais is a new concept of 'boutique house' with seven rooms, one of which is a loft, for "guests seeking all the glamour and comfort", in a contemporary space. This is an investment by the company APT in Lisbon.
Located in the centre, BCascais is housed in a historical building that has been totally renovated, with three floors and several rooms decorated in a classic-contemporary style. The unit also has a bistro bar that extends to the garden, to taste local tapas and wines of the region, during the afternoon and evening, the motto of which is "Sentir Cascais" ("Experience Cascais").

The accommodation is located a few metres from local shops, the museum quarter, the train station and the area's beaches in Cascais.
BCascais is the first 'boutique house' of APT in Lisbon, which is investing in various alternative accommodation concepts to conventional hotels. Examples of this are the Oriente-Housing flats, in Parque das Nações, offering a complete house with services such as cleaning and permanent customer support; and the LX51- Studios & Suites residence, in Lisbon city centre, an offer for urban travellers, "differentiating and with its own identity, less formal and more intimate, consisting of studios and suites".

Filipe Costa, Owner & CEO of the company, says that they are "studying the possibility of opening new units in the next two years in the Studios and Bexperience segments, in the Lisbon region".
