The luxury Verdelago Resort, located in the Algarve, opens its doors this summer to welcome its first property owners. Work started on the resort in 2021, after being in the pipelines for more than 20 years. After a first sales phase, the development now starts the marketing of 109 new residential-tourist units. The Portuguese are the main buyers and there is a waiting list for all types of units, while foreign buyers are also expressing interest in one of the Algarve's newest luxury resorts.
Verdelago prices and properties available
For the new marketing phase, Verdelago Resort in the Algarve has the following properties available:
- 83 apartments with typologies T1, T2 and T3, with private areas between 80 and 150 m2 and with terraces, of between 16 and 70m2, mostly covered by pergolas. Prices start at 600,000 euros and go up to 1,65 million euros;
- 26 villas, with typologies V2 and V3, including 10 properties with a terrace and panoramic view. Prices range from 920,000 euros to 1.3 million euros.
According to the statement sent to the press, the first of these properties will be handed over to their new owners next year and the possibility of acquisition is being given priority "to interested parties who, not having been able to acquire one of the units in the previous phase, have remained on a waiting list until today".
Verdelago Resort: Paradise on Earth
"A paradise on earth: this is how the owners and visitors of the first properties have described the Verdelago Resort. This is an unrepeatable, unique and innovative project that excels in several areas - location, architecture, environment and sustainability. To date, sales have been a real success and continue at a good pace, and Verdelago will not be immune to the trend that dictates an increase in demand after the resort is opened to tourism," said Paulo Monteiro, General Director of Development at Verdelago Resort, quoted in the same document.
The Portuguese are the main buyers of this project, representing 80% of sales to date, which also include North American, British and Spanish buyers, among other nationalities. It is also mainly the Portuguese who are on the waiting list for this new phase.
The Verdelago Resort will also include a 5 star hotel with 197 rooms and its construction will start this year.
