The construction of the new luxury tourist area, La Réserve, in the village of Comporta, is progressing full steam ahead. Located just few kilometres from Pego and Carvalhal beaches in the municipality of Grândola, the project promoted by the French group Terrésens will be completed over almost 10 hectares of land, where 24 luxury villas, 82 standard villas and 56 apartments will be built in the up-and-coming seaside village of Comporta. All the luxury villas will have a private swimming pool and hot-tub, as well as an exclusive garden with an area ranging from 1,000 to 2,000m2. Prices start at 731,000 euros.

The standard villas will be known as "village houses", due to the fact that the original idea for this complex was the recreation of a typical Portuguese village and is located in Comporta, situated between the Sado River and the Atlantic Ocean - 82 units will be built with the typologies T3, T4 and T5 (with 3, 4 and 5 bedrooms respectively), some with private gardens that can go up to 500m2 and others with a swimming pool on the roof. The size of these houses will vary between 91 and 180m2 and prices start at 310,000 euros.

The village will also have 56 apartments, each with 2 bedrooms that will be fully furnished and equipped. These apartments will be a spacious 77m2 each and will be marketed from 230,000 euros.

"The environmental and sustainability concerns that are at the basis of the project mean that the entire space is designed for walking or cycling, at the expense of cars", reads the company's statement. In total, the built area will be 22,058m2, which is equivalent to less than 25% of the entire development site.
