Even within the world of luxury real estate, some locations stand out as truly exceptional. When examining Portugal’s priciest streets for purchasing property, Cascais features prominently in the top 10, as revealed by a recent analysis from idealista, Portugal’s leading property marketplace. However, the crown for the most expensive street belongs to Quinta do Lago, located in the Algarve.

In July, the average asking price for a home on Portugal’s most prestigious street reached €8,106,364. This reflects the exclusivity of Quinta do Lago, a highly sought-after gated community in Almancil, Algarve.

Taking second place is Rua Soto Maior in Sintra, where the average property price stands at €3,912,000. Rounding out the top three is Avenida dos Descobrimentos in Lagos, with an average home price of €3,797,450.

The fourth most coveted address is Rua Vilas do Mar in the parish of Carvalhal, Setúbal district (€3,644,444). Following close behind are Rua Faias in Cascais (€3,589,091) and Rua Melo e Sousa in Estoril, where luxury homes average €3,554,768.

In seventh position, Rua dos Pinheiros in Cascais boasts properties priced around €3,312,105. Completing the list of Portugal’s ten most expensive streets are Rua do Pinhal in Estoril (€3,195,000), Avenida 24 de Julho in Lisbon (€3,054,850), and Rua Carreira de Tiro in Barcarena, Oeiras (€3,021,933).

This ranking is based on the average asking prices of flats and houses listed on each street, as analysed by idealista. To ensure accuracy, only streets with at least 10 active listings were included, and duplicate properties were excluded. It’s important to note that these figures represent average prices of homes currently on the market and may not reflect the absolute highest prices achieved in each area.
