Portuguese architecture continues to be at the forefront of the cutting edge and is on everyone’s lips. In the BBC programme "The World’s Most Extraordinary Homes", which is also on Netflix, there are four Portuguese properties that are sure to knock your socks off.
The programme is hosted by architect Piers Taylor and actress Caroline Quentin. The two presenters travel the world in search of the most incredible houses on the planet and made a stop in Portugal to present four dream houses. Not only did they stop there, but they even decided to dedicate the first episode of the second season entirely to Portugal.
The synopsis of the episode tells us that Caroline and Piers arrived in the country to "visit a house with two swimming pools on top of each other, a house shaped like a snake, a stunning house in the shape of an X and a house in a natural park". Curious? We show you the 4 Portuguese houses awarded the title of best in the world.
