This 87m2 apartment in Lisbon is a delight for lovers of both architecture and decoration. The property, located in the Picoas neighbourhood of the city and whose style oscillates between sophisticated and contemporary, is distinguished by a circular opening in the wall lined in brass. Such features are reminiscent of the Art Deco period, with this particular feature joining the living room and the kitchen. The design of this original apartment is the work of Manuel Tojal Architects.
The objective of the architects' work was to renovate the apartment without compromising its identity, but improving the technical characteristics at the same time. During the remodeling, the 20th century ceilings and doors were preserved, and a selection of custom made furniture in vibrant shades of green was added, also designed by the architects studio, according to AD magazine. Let's have a look inside!
