Demand for homes in the Amendoeira Golf Resort, located in Alcantarilha near Silves in Southern Portugal's Algarve region, increased in 2020, a year marked by the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, while sales have already exceeded last year's total sales by 80%. Leading the demand are the villas with private pool and garden, reveals Kronos Homes, in a statement, emphasising that the development has also been renovated.

According to Rui Meneses Ferreira, a partner in Kronos Homes in Portugal, there is currently "a multicultural community of owners" in the resort, either living permanently or on holiday.

According to Ferreira, the resort now has renewed infrastructures and facilities, namely the reception area, clubhouse, esplanade and restaurants, with a new lounge bar in the sports centre.
"The renovation of the Amendoeira Golf Resort seeks comfort, modernity and sophistication. There was, however, the concern to respect the Moorish architectural lines predominant in the development, and which constitute an important differentiating element of the resort", state Kronos Homes.
It should also be noted that Amendoeira Golf resort has fully furnished and equipped properties currently for sale, namely T2 (2 bedroom) and T2+1 apartments (a 2-bedroom flat with an additional living room with sofa bed), detached villas with three bedrooms with private pool and superior villas with four bedrooms, beautifully landscaped gardens and private pools.
