The EU statistics office also concludes that Austria is the country where most journeys are made by train (12.9%). The Dutch (11.2%) and the French (10.3%) complete the podium in this order.
As far as the use of the bus is concerned, it is in Hungary that this means of transport has the most fans (20.8%), followed by Cyprus (18.9%) and Malta (17.5%).
