Where is the warmest beach water in Portugal? Summer may have drawn to a close, but this doesn't mean that trips to the beach have to end, as there is a beach in Portugal with a water temperature of 25 degrees - the ideal place to take a dip this autumn. We're talking about Marinha da Noeirinha beach, in Aveiro, which is close to the typical Beira Mar neighbourhood. There are those who think that this beach has stagnant or unhealthy water thanks to the unusually high temperature. However, they are mistaken, as the water is renewed every day with the rising and falling tides. As well as this, it is rich in nutrients and minerals that are beneficial to your health. Let's take a closer look at this beach with warm water in Portugal

Marinha da Noeirinha (where the beach is located) is the result of the union of three other neighbouring marinas that, according to records, were named Moeirinha, Balacosinha and Rata, as can be read on the website. This union went on throughout its 200 years of existence. At least four families from the city were its owners where it passed between generations or in sales processes, eventually belonging to one family and later inherited in equal shares by two cousins. In the meantime, it was acquired by a salt-producing company that left it abandoned for more than 30 years, and it was restored again in 2016.

"In our marina, you can enjoy the best that nature has to offer and, take the opportunity to relax in our observatory, find out about some of the bird species that exist in Aveiro or even take a dip in our salt and natural water pool. Just like our salt production area, the pool is directly connected to the channels of the Ria de Aveiro, and its water is naturally renewed with the rising and falling tides, thus enjoying clean and natural water", says the organisation, whose main goal is to bring back the culture of artisanal salt production.
