A residential development with 11 villas, of type V4 (4-bedroom garden villas) and V5 (5-bedroom panoramic villas), is being built in Vila Nova de Gaia, next to the Marina da Afurada. Splendouro, as it is called, overlooks the Douro River and is coming off paper after a 15 million euro investment by the real estate developer Sharp Developers, which was founded in 2018 and "took on the challenge of being a reference in the Portuguese real estate market", as it is possible to read on its website.
This collection of luxury property in Portugal is a residential complex that is "framed on one of the slopes over the splendour of the Douro River", having the signature of the architect Miguel Nogueira, from the NN Arquitectura team, Predibisa, responsible for the dissemination and marketing of the development, refers in a statement.

The Splendouro development is currently in the marketing phase - prices start at 1.3 million euros, according to Jornal de Negócios - and should be completed in May 2024. "It is synonymous with refuge, serenity and rest at home, without giving up the proximity of services, cultural offerings, leisure and diversity, which characterises the city of Gaia and Porto," says the mediator.
Quoted in the note, Rita Pereira, Predibisa Senior Residential Consultant, considers this to be "a unique investment opportunity for those looking for a differentiating 360º project, in the architectural component or in construction, framing and adjacent benefits, which translate into a perfect balance between aesthetic sense, sophistication and durability of the materials applied to the interior and exterior, given the proximity of the river and the sea.

"Splendouro rises on the hill that dominates the Douro River Marina, proposing a bold, modern and innovative design, which harmoniously articulates with a unique panoramic view, accentuated by its large terraces, balconies and gardens. From the villas an amphitheatre opens up to the river, privileging the views and integrating the landscape, through the roofs that refer to the old port wine cellars, located in Gaia, very close to Splendouro", explains Carla Luís, CEO of Sharp Developers.

The Managing Director of the development company, Juan Camilo Amaya, emphasises that the company has sought to "develop a housing project that is unique in its dimension and typology", aimed at those who value "centrality and a healthy lifestyle, with the family, in an environment of nature and tranquillity, possible next to the river and the sea".
