For the first time in almost two decades, the Vale do Lobo resort in Portugal is preparing to launch a "new off-plan property product". This will include flats and semi-detached villas in the Vale Real area, also aimed at a "new, more demanding generation of visitors and owners".
Founded in 1963, Vale do Lobo was Portugal's first luxury resort. Over the years, it has captivated investors, golfers and tourists (to live or holiday), becoming a benchmark in the Algarve region, covering an area of almost 450 hectares.
Now, with a renewed identity, the brand aims to attract a new audience, inspiring "new generations looking for a differentiating experience and a unique lifestyle", through new property projects and infrastructures and services.
"Many of Vale do Lobo's visitors have chosen the resort for many years and many of them are the children and grandchildren of the original owners and clients. As the resort continues to grow and evolve with them, so too does a new era for Vale do Lobo, resulting from the vision and strategy of the new shareholder structure. This is a time for renewing the resort's image and communication in general, in line with the new property projects that will be unveiled this year," comments Alda Filipe, Member of the Board of Directors of Vale do Lobo and Regional Director of Kronos Homes (operating partner in Vale do Lobo), quoted in a statement.

At the end of 2022, Vale do Lobo was acquired by an investment fund advised by Davidson Kempner Capital Management LP, including operating partner Kronos Real Estate Group, as manager and developer of all residential property. As part of the new strategy, positioning and vision, it is preparing to move forward with new investments.
Recently, the resort marketed a new selection of plots in two property development areas - Oceano Clube, in one of Portugal's last coastal strongholds, and Vale Real, with panoramic views of the golf course. New plots will also soon be launched in Vale das Flores, close to hole eight of the Ocean golf course.
