Aurios is a residential development that combines luxury and modernity, taking shape on the banks of the Douro River in Porto. Now under construction and expected to be completed by 2025, the project is the result of a collaboration between Forbes Global Properties Portugal—marking its debut in the city of Porto—and Emerge, the real estate developer of the Mota-Engil group. It will feature 48 apartments ranging from three to five bedrooms.

“This partnership, which signals Forbes Global Properties’ entry into the city of Porto, reflects a shared commitment to redefining the luxury real estate landscape in Portugal,” Forbes Global Properties Portugal stated in a press release. The announcement also highlighted a recent launch event held in the scenic gardens of the Aurios development.

The development in question is located just minutes from Porto's city centre and “offers a unique opportunity for those seeking a countryside retreat that harmoniously combines well-being and a connection to nature.” “Aurios boasts outstanding amenities and stands out as one of the few high-end residential projects in Porto, offering a truly unique concept within the city,” the statement reads.

Quoted in the release, Pedro Teixeira Santos, CEO of Forbes Global Properties Portugal, highlights that “Aurios is more than just a development,” representing “an urban vision perfectly aligned” with the brand he represents. “We are excited to collaborate with Emerge, an innovative, creative, and conscientious developer that has a transformative impact on the communities it serves,” he adds.
