They’re calling it Marechal 720. Construction is underway on the luxury condominium in one of the most sophisticated and cosmopolitan Portuguese avenues. Erected in the area of Foz, in Porto, the new project is a collection of 14 floors with unusual property typologies, ranging from 379 to 656 square metres, which is roughly between 4,000 and 7,000 square feet.
Standing proud on Avenida Marechal Gomes da Costa, which connects Boavista with Foz, Marechal 720 offers house hunters some really special features. You can buy exclusive 3-storey triplex flats with anything from four bedrooms (type T4) to two bedrooms plus an extra room for use as an office or just extra storage space (T2+1). Future residents of the condo can choose between different models: Casa Jardim, Casa Patio or Casa Piscina, which come with garden, patio or swimming pool areas, respectively.
JLL is the company responsible for marketing the project on a co-exclusive basis with Roquette Leitão & Associados, while the promotor is Vogue Homes. In a communiqué, they note that “the houses are developed in total harmony with the surrounding gardens and the entire building complex was designed like a tree, becoming denser at the top in a great, lush green area which offers all the homeowners generous private gardens."
"Projects like Marechal 720 don’t often appear on the market," said the Head of Residential at JLL Portugal, Patrícia Barão. “They are unusually large residences with gardens in a private condominium, providing not only security but also the feeling of having a refuge within the city. All this in one of the most valuable areas of Porto, with easy access to the best schools and cultural centres.”
For Marta Leitão, administrator of Roquette, Leitão & Associados, the project stands out "for its unique character and intelligent integration with the landscape in a privileged area of the city." Prices for these luxury apartments start at 850,000 euro, and are sure to sell fast.
