It's called Royal Green and will bring 100 flats to Vila Nova de Gaia. This is a 14-storey development, three of which are underground, which will have a retail unit and a coworking space for residents to use, with a total area of 962 square metres (m2). It is being realised by the Construções Vila Maior (CVM) group and represents an investment of 18 million euros.
Located on Avenida dos Descobrimentos, the building will have 51 one-bedroom flats, 36 two-bedroom flats and 12 two-bedroom duplex flats. It will be completed in March 2026, but only 40% of the units are still available, with prices ranging from €140,000 to 350,000, the company said in a statement.
"The building, designed by the architect Paulo Moreira, has a vertical garden on its façade and has the particularity of only contemplating small typologies, the most sought-after in the market today," reads the note.
Quoted in the document, Severino Ponte, CEO of the CVM group, comments that the company continues to work to consolidate its position in the market "and, with this, strengthen the housing offer in Gaia, with a bold architecture, suited to today's demand, giving preference to the central location in the city and close to the ruby metro line".
It should be remembered that the CVM group is building 26 projects in Porto, Gaia, Espinho and Matosinhos, totalling 870 units: 600 are under construction and the remaining 270 are in the planning stage. This involves an overall investment of 170 million euros over the next three years.
