This property, which is being sold as part of a disinvestment process, provides an exclusive, peaceful and private setting linked to the region’s salt-making and aquaculture traditions, incorporating several salt pans and rural properties.
The sale includes areas for semi-intensive fish farming, aquaculture operations and work to make use of the Ria de Aveiro’s natural resources, as well as supporting buildings: Casa da Ilha, two palheiros — traditional wooden sheds — and Casa da Pinta, all intended to support fish-farming activities.
Ilha dos Puxadoiros also includes various operational facilities and infrastructure, along with aquaculture operating licences associated with the Pinta 1229 and Canal do Peixe 1939 sites.
Given its size and location, the island has considerable potential for activities linked to aquaculture, bivalve production, nature tourism, food experiences, events and sustainable projects.
