"It was the only thing she hadn't caught yet: love. No one is immune". Not even the main character of "Amélie", also known as "The Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain", the 2001 romantic comedy film directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, could escape cupid in the famously romantic Paris.

A boat ride on the River Seine, a good wine in Montmartre, a picnic with croissants in front of the Eiffel Tower or even shopping at the Champs Elysées are the perfect plans to enjoy romatic Paris at its finest and create your own love story at the foot of the Eiffel Tower!

You may not be a big fan of romantic movies, but that doesn't mean you can't be charmed by their breathtaking movie scenes this Valentine's day.

Spain is often chosen as the backdrop for movies due to its varied landscape, and has been chosen by directors such as Woody Allen and George Lucas. As well as Barcelona, the 2008 rom-com "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" was also shot in Oviedo and Avilés in the region of Asturias, while episode 2 of "Star Wars" featured Seville's stunning Plaza de España.

The last stop on our romantic tour takes us to Portuguese territory, the island of Madeira. Few people know this story, but Moby Dick has swum in Portuguese waters, more precisely in Caniçal.

The charming fishing village of Caniçal is also known for its harbour with colourful fishing boats, perfect for romatic walks by the sea and beautiful views of the island's lush, green landscapes. There is nothing more romantic than enjoying the beauty of nature with your other half, even if it's by watching a movie together.
