The Karl Lagerfeld Residences project in Lisbon is going ahead. The Lisbon municipality has approved the construction of the branded residences project.  According to the newspaper Público, this will feature the country's most expensive homes, priced at around €20,000 per square metre.

The future of the luxury development, associated with one of the great fashion figures of the last century, was decided this April. It was confirmed by Pedro Vicente, CEO of Overseas, the construction developer, to ECO/ECO Avenida.

  • In total, the building will have 12 floors, 10 apartments, and areas starting at 240 m2.
  • Construction is expected to begin in September.

In a recent statement about the project, the developer explained that Karl Lagerfeld Residences Lisboa "was born with the ambition of being a landmark project in Lisbon and Europe, designed for a global audience that seeks more than just a home: they seek a lifestyle."

Corcoran Atlantic, responsible for promoting and marketing the project, highlighted the fact that Karl Lagerfeld Residences is a product that seeks to represent something "iconic, international and deeply connected to contemporary design and lifestyle".

Located on Rua Braamcamp, near Avenida da Liberdade, Karl Lagerfeld Residences Lisboa joins other hospitality and real estate projects associated with the Karl Lagerfeld brand. These include the Karl Lagerfeld Macau hotel, the Karl Lagerfeld Villas Marbella, and the Karl Lagerfeld Dubai Villas, which are currently under development.
