It’s called Casal Ribeiro and it’s a luxury condominium with 77 apartments located in the most central area of Lisbon, near Saldanha. The property typologies it will house vary from studios, which will have an area of 49 square metres or 527 square feet, to 4-bedroom apartments, with 223 m2 or 2400 sq ft.
This is a new development by Stakecorp, a venture capital fund that began its activity in December 2014, and which will be marketed by JLL and Porta da Frente at Christie's on a co-exclusive basis.
The complex has, among other luxuries, a communal swimming pool, gym, 24-hour security and concierge service. The floors are distributed in four blocks with different styles and concepts, the Action, the Selection, the Collection and the View, as the consultants explain in a statement.
"Located on the corner of Casal Ribeiro Avenue and Actor Taborda Street, a short distance from the Atrium Saldanha, the Monumental, the emblematic Versailles pastry shop and the bullring of the Campo Pequeno, the iconic building was restored with a project by the Saraiva+Asociados studio. The building’s architecture dates from the end of the 19th/beginning of the 20th century. The recovery has preserved the historical identity of the building, not only of the façades, but also of the interior, showing its original elegance," as can be read in the document.
For Patrícia Barão, Head of Residential at JLL, Casal Ribeiro "recovers the architecture and century-old identity of the building … With its four innovative concepts, it is a unique and excellent offer for those looking for a house to live in or invest in," she explained.
Rafael Ascenso, General Manager of Porta da Frente Christie's, praised the fact that the Casal Ribeiro building provides "an exclusive and differentiating experience, where each fraction is a unique discovery".
