House prices in Portugal have doubled in 15 years
House prices increased by 5.1% in the eurozone and 5.4% across the European Union in the second quarter compared with the same period last year, Eurostat reported at the start of October 2025. Portugal saw the sharpest rise at 17.2%. On a quarterly basis, prices grew by 1.6% in the eurozone and 1.7% in the EU.
