Two new residential projects in Vilamoura with 214 charming villas and apartments

They are called Central and Uptown and are the most recent residential marketing projects in Vilamoura in the Algarve. With these developments, 214 charming new villas and apartments will reach the market in 2020. "They are two different projects," Miguel Palmeiro, commercial director of the Vilamoura World Group (VM), and ‘master developer’ responsible for the development of Vilamoura, began by telling idealista/news.

According to him, "Central will consist of an exclusive community of 80 residences in the centre of Vilamoura," with types V2 + 1, V3 and V4 (i.e. chalets with 2, 3 or 4 rooms, respectively) and prices starting at 629,900 euro.

"It’s an urbanização residential housing development with high levels of sophistication and exclusivity, offering a perfect balance between private and common spaces," says Miguel Palmeiro, underlining that the "complex was designed by the international architecture firm Petraccone & Vodar, which has combined a prestigious place with a special architectural concept."

The private housing estate uses high-quality materials and finishes on its private interior patios that offer a soft and harmonious connection with nature, with the surrounding communal gardens and with the swimming pools. The 80 residences that make up Central are five minutes from the beach and the marina and very close to golf courses and tennis courts.

"Uptown will mark the beginning of a new way of life in Vilamoura, where the project and nature become one," reveals the VW Group Sales Director.

"The first phase of 134 residential units, apartments and villas is now on the market. The houses are composed of two, three or four rooms and will be ready by early 2020," he says. Prices in Uptown start at 294,400 euro.

Miguel Palmeiro states that "Uptown was born with the intention of becoming a new centre in Vilamoura", surrounded by nature. "It is focussed on providing the best possible quality of life for all residents, with the infrastructure nearby, such as the Vilamoura International School, the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre and the Victoria Golf Course making life easier for this new community."

For him, this real estate project is "a place where colours and designs emerge from the earth" and "where the architecture has a typical Portuguese touch, perfectly integrated into the landscape. Jacques Ferrier, an architect on the Uptown project, took advantage of the exceptional location to create a project with unique architectural features and its own identity in Vilamoura." In addition, Uptown will have, among other amenities, a space for leisure and lounging with the neighbours at the swimming pool.

So, who are the potential buyers of these projects? The master developer tells idealista/news that the profiles are diverse. "Because of the variety of properties we’re offering, we have investors who buy with a view to obtaining income and we have buyers who invest to use the properties themselves.
