The Muda Reserve project, located in the village of Muda, near Comporta on the Alentejo coast, is coming to life. The commercialisation of the 42 quintas built in the village will start soon, says the developer Vanguard Properties. They further announced that the infrastructure works of the rural area of the project have already finished. In addition to the rustic quinta houses, about 50 semi-detached units (Casas da Aldeia) and 150 lots (Villas da Aldeia) will be for sale on the site.

"The high-quality technical infrastructure includes about five and a half miles, or nine kilometres, of dirt roads, wooden gates and fences, plus networks of drinking water, irrigation water, electricity and telecommunications on the doorstep of each plot," Vanguard Properties says in a statement. The property developers have invested about 200 million euro in the Muda Reserve project.

This particular project "covers an area of 350 hectares and recreates the concept of a village composed of houses, villas and country estates with gardens, apple orchards and vegetable patches," reveals the company, noting that it had a "huge concern for the environment in the implementation of these infrastructures.”

According to Vanguard Properties, the 42 quinta country homes in the town have areas that vary between four and seven hectares each, allowing the construction of houses with an area of up to 500 square metres, over 5,000 square feet, while the rest of the land will be used for farming and other activities.

"In addition to the 42 quintas in the centre of the village, the project of this new village integrates a set of about 50 semi-detached units, designated as Casas da Aldeia, with typologies ranging from T0 (studios) to T3 (houses with 3 bedrooms) and areas between 60 and 200 m2 (645 and 2,150 sq ft), which include all modern facilities and a private garden with swimming pool. There are also various extra services, such as sports fields, a swimming pool, shopping area (with cafe, restaurant, supermarket, etc.), children's playground, chapel, and much more. In the case of the Villas de la Aldeia, a set of about 150 lots with areas between 670 and 2,300 m2 (7,200 and 24,750 sq ft), with typologies T3 (houses with 3 bedrooms) to T6 (houses with 6 bedrooms), whose built surface areas vary between 150 and 700 m2 (1,600 and 7,500 sq ft), two steps from the centre of the village," says the document.
