There is a lot coming up for auction on 12th April 2019 of 13 publicly owned properties in the north of Portugal. The properties are being sold by the Directorate General of the Treasury (Direção Geral do Tesouro), because the assets that are now coming onto the market are owned by the State and other Public Institutions. The session is scheduled for 10:30 and will take place in the Salão Nobre da Câmara Municipal in the town of Paredes de Coura.
The supply of properties on offer is very varied. Among the properties, which are spread around several different locations, are garages (with values of between 5,500 and 8,300 euro), apartments (between 65,200 and 72,000 euro), residential homes (one of which stands out for having served as a tax office, for 29 thousand euro) and a shop (194,400 euro). But that’s not all.
There is even a palace in Viana do Castelo (the Solar dos Quesados, whose auction sale price starts at 582,490 euro), a former sanatorium in Paredes de Coura (for 582,490 euro) and an enormous 11,000 square metre (120,00 square foot) plot of land in Braga on sale for 751,000 euro.
